Water lubricated screw compressor
This simple, yet highly efficient hybrid patented technology provides a fully variable no-oil compressor in a compact package that occupies just 30% of the floor space of an equivalent dry screw machine and offers up to 18% improvement in efficiency. Targeted at the 120-300kW product range, this two-stage machine couples the Corac 50kW high-speed spool to supercharge a water injected screw compressor.

Corac Group plc has developed the concept of ‘turbo-charging’ reciprocating compressors for the plastics bottle blowing industry. By adding our supercharged compressors to existing machinery allows for greater overall productivity, and output can be adjusted accordingly to work with high and low production capacity requirements. A Corac Group plc turbo-charging system has already been successfully installed in the bottling plant of a world-leading soft drinks manufacturer.
