Current Technology Projects
Corac initially developed the underlying technology for the Downhole Gas Compressor (DGC) by working with industrial partners through a Joint Industry Programme with Conoco Phillips (UK) Ltd, Eni SpA and Repsol YPF.
We have subsequently engaged in individual projects for DGC feasibility studies and prototype development with partners including Eni, OMV Austria Exploration & Production GmbH and an independent exploration & production company with gas interests in the United States. We are developing an IGC application with Saudi Aramco.
From knowledge and experience gained from the early stages of the DGC development programme, Corac is now implementing a more reliable second generation technology for all new prototypes. Successful projects will result in commercial benefits for our partners and allow us to bring our technology to market.
