The Company was informed that, as at 18 December 2008, Barclays PLC increased their interest and voting rights in the ordinary shares of nominal value 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to 4,337,438 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.0% of the issued share capital. Prior to this notification their interest and voting rights in the Ordinary Shares were less than 3.0%.
