Appointment of Rohan Richard Courtney OBE to Corac Group plc board

Corac Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Rohan Richard Courtney OBE to the Board as non-executive director.  Rohan, aged 62, has a highly active career in business. He was in banking for 27 years, holding a senior executive position at the State Bank of New South Wales and subsequently as Group Chief Executive of the merchant bank Robert Fraser & Co. Also during his career he was a company doctor who has successfully turned around businesses in the retail, manufacturing, hotel and financial services sectors. Rohan was a non-executive director of Tullow Oil plc from 1993 to 2007 and Senior Independent Director from 2000. As a non-executive director, he has gained extensive experience in corporate governance at every level serving on the boards of companies in numerous sectors. Rohan co-founded the UCG Partnership in 2005 and is Chairman of Trustees of UCG Association, the worldwide professional association for underground coal gasification (UCG). He is non-executive Chairman of Clean Coal Limited, which undertakes and operates UCG projects worldwide. Rohan was appointed an OBE for services to Anglo-Australian relations in 2008.
